Propagation
Take semi-hardwood cuttings from autumn to winter.
Sow fresh seeds during spring in a well-drained media.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery texture leaves are elliptical to lanceolate with an acuminate apex. The upper surface is glossy green with light green with prominent venation.

Flower: The flowers are campanulate to urceolate and are solitary or arranged in an umbellated cluster in leaf axils at the top of branches. They have a sweet Gardenia-like scent and appear during early spring.

Fruit: The promenant berry is green turning brown-black when ripe and are arranged in clusters or solitary. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
