Propagation
Take soft tip or semi-hardwood cuttings during the growing period and place under a misting bench with bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are broad oblong to oblong-ovate and up to 70mm (2µin) wide. Thevery glossy dark green leaves are thick with a fleshy texture and the underside is pale green.

Flower: The flowers are tubulate to narrow funnelform and male and female flowers are found on different plants (dioecious). They are arranged in a compound cluster that is normally inconspicuous as it is hidden under the leaves and appearing during summer.

Fruit: The pumpkin-like drupe appears in clusters and may be decorative. It is red, white, blue or purple. The small fruit is viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
