Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring and semi hardwood cuttings during late autumn.
Botanic information
Leaf: The mid green lanceolate leaves have an acuminate apex and a cuneate base. During autumn the leaves turn red-claret colour before falling.
Flower: The yellow salverform flowers have 4-petals and a narrow tube. They appear solitary or are arranged in pairs and appear in the leaf axils along the stem before the leaves during early spring.
Fruit: The small woody capsule contains winged seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
