Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are pinnately lobed and ovate to lanceolate depending on the cultivar and are up to 35mm (1?in)to 50mm (2in) wide. The underside is covered in a greyish pubescent and when crushed are aromatic.

Flower: The flower heads are solitary or arranged in a cluster with spreading ray florets that are single, semi-double, double. They are available in a wide range of colours including white, pink, mauve, purple, red, yellow, orange and brown and appear during late summer.

Fruit: The almost cylindrical fruit is not often produced and in some cases removed from the plant during cultivation. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively in order to maintain true to type.
