Botanic information
Leaf: The trifoliate leaves have 3-obovate bluish-green leaflets that have 3-deep lobes at the apex and a wedge-shaped base. They are arranged in a basil rosette.
Flower: The campanulate flowers have colourful tepals and spurred petals and are arranged in a short panicle or are solitary and appear during early summer.
Fruit: The small berry-like follicle contains the numerous seeds. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively in order to maintain true to type.
