Take hardwood cuttings during winter using the callus box treatment.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are linear to lanceolate with an undulating smooth upper surface and finely serrated margins. During autumn they turn yellow before falling and the leaves are a feature of the plant.
Flower: The flowers appear with new growth and the female and male catkins found on different trees (dioecious). Only female flowers found on trees in Australia (clone).
Fruit: The small 2-valved capsule and seed is not commonly seenand the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
