Propagation
Take hardwood cuttings during winter and use the callous box treatment.

Large limbs may be cut from the tree and place in a moist soil where they will take root and send off shoots.
Young trees are easy to transplant.

Culture
Care should be taking up when selecting a site for planting as the tree has vigorous strong roots that can damage pipes or pathways.
