Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring a well-drained media.

Take soft tip or semi-hardwood cuttings from late summer to autumn.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green lanceolate leaves may be tinged in purple and have a rough-wrinkled texture with deep veins. The petiole is short and the apex is acute.

Flower: The small salverform flowers are arranged in a dense terminal cyme that is held above the foliage on a slender peduncle and appear from late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The schizocarpic fruit is composed of small nutlets and is not normally seen. The small seeds are viable but the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
