Propagation
Sow seeds as soon as they are ripe in a well-drained media.

Take semi-hardwood or tip cuttings from late spring to summer and maintain a humid environment.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are lanceolate to narrow elliptical and the underside is covered with scales giving it a silvery appearance. The buds are arranged in the leaf axils and are up to 6mm (¥in) long and have 4 brownish scales.

Flower: The sweetly scented tubulate flowers are arranged in a pendant cluster of 1 to 3 in the leaf axils on the upper twigs. The flowers are commonly hidden by the foliage during late summer and are not normally produced in warmer climates.

Fruit: The oval drupe has a single stone and it is reddish brown with silver spots.The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
