Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in containers and plant out when large enough to handle.


Botanic information
Leaf: The long grey green lanceolate leaves have a short petiole and an acuminate apex. The upper surface is deeply veined and covered in fine tomentose.

Flower: The small bluefunnelform flowers have red stamensand are arranged in adense conical raceme that is up to 600mm (2ft) tall and appears from spring to summer.

Fruit: The schizocarpic fruit splits into 4 one seeded articles. The seed are small and numerous.
