Propagation
Sow seed during late winter or most of the year in temperate climates directly in prepared bed in-groups of 3 to 6 and space 250 to 600 mm (2ft) apart. It takes 8 to 10 weeks from seed to flower.


Botanic information
Leaf: The orbicular leaves have prominent venation and long petioles up to 250mm (10in) that are uses as tendrils. The upper surface is mid green and the underside is pale green.

Flower: The single, semi double and double funnelform flowers have 5-broad petals and lanceolate sepals with one folding to form a spur and are held above the foliage in a long pedicle that is up to 250mm (10in). They appear from late spring to late autumn.

Fruit: The pod-like fruit is wrinkled with three lobes separating into three 1-seeded indehiscent sections. There are5 to 7 large seeds per gramand the seedsself sow easily.
