Propagation
Sow fresh seeds thinly in boxes and prick out when large enough to handle. Plant out and space 25 to 300 mm (1ft) apart.
It takes 12 weeks to produce flowers from seed.
Culture
Young plants can be disbudded to promote a larger plant and some cultivars, particularly double flowering type may require staking. Prune back after main flowering period to encourage a second flush of flowers.
