Propagation
Divide established clumps during spring. This perennial is easily transplanted and recovers quickly.

Runners may be cut and potted up then planted out during spring.

Botanic information
Leaf: The rounded reniform leaves have margins that have shallow pointed lobes and the foliage is held upright on a petiole that is up to 50mm (2in) long.

Flower: This flowers have 5-petals that may be pouched at the base and are white with a mauve centre. It is irregular funnelform to rotate and is held above the foliage on a slender tall pedestal. The main flowering period is from spring to early summer but intermittent flowering may occur throughout the year.

Fruit: The small papery capsule splits open with 3-5 valves and containing numerous small nut-like seeds that have a fleshy endosperm that is oily and are commonly disbursed by ants. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
