Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring in containers and seedlings take up to two years before producing flowers.

Divide the tunicate bulb offsets during winter when they dormant and plant out at a depth is 40 to 60 mm (2? in).

Culture
In warmer climates it may be left in the ground but in cooler climates it requires lifting and storing for 10 to 15 weeks. It is often grown in pots in cooler areas.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green long linear leaves are rolled inwardsalong the marginsand appeartubularin shape.

Flower: The white funnelform flowers have 6-conspicuous yellow tipped stamens and the petals are tinged with pink on the inside. They appear on a slender scape that is up to 200mm (8in) long and appear during later summer.

Fruit: The small capsule produces numerous tiny seeds. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
