Propagation
Soak seeds over night in hot water to soften the hard seed coat. They may be sown directly in a bed and germination will occur in 6 to 10 weeks.
Take soft tip cuttings during spring under glass house conditions. Tissue culture is also used to propagate this plant.
General pruning information
Lightly prune immediately after flowering to encourage a bushy habit and profuse increased flowering in the following season. Cutting back at other times during the year may cause dieback.
Cut flower but must have reasonable length of stem.
