Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media and keep moist.

Take semi hardwood cuttings in late summer and place under glass.

Trench and aerial layering is carried out during summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery textured glossy dark green oblanceolate leaves have a pale mid rib and the margin is serrated towards the obtuse, notched apex.

Flower: The solitary rotate flowers appear in upper axils and have 5-white crinkled petals and a central boss of golden stamens. They appear from autumn to early winter.

Fruit: The capsule fruit has 3-5 cells that ripe in during winter. Each cell contains 2-8 flat seeds that are winged at one end. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
