Sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media and keep moist and warm.
Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile leaves are oblong to ovate with an obtuse to acute apex with a short pointed tip. The surface is slightly pubescent and the margin is lightly ciliate.
Flower: The flowers are rotate to crateriform and the 5-fused petals that give a circular appearance. It is blue-mauve with a white centre and appears solitary in the leaf axils during summer.
Fruit: The small capsule contains 1 to 4 seeds that are very viable and may self sow.
