Propagation
Divide the bulbs and plant out at spacings between 200 to 400mm (14 in) from late winter to early spring with the neck above the soil level.

Sow fresh seed and maintain a temperature of 20ºC 70º F.

Note:
If plant parts are ingested they may cause stomach upset and contact with the sap may cause skin irritation.


Botanic information
Leaf: The course-textured leaves are long lanceolate (strap-like) and are up to 80mm (3?in)wide and have minutely crenulate margins. There are up to 20-leaves that emerge from the neck of the bulb.

Flower: The funnelform flowers have pink tinged white flowers that curve outwards and are arranged in a terminal umbel that appears high above the foliage during early summer.

Fruit: The inferior ovary is 3 locular and the capsule is slightly beaked but normally no seeds are produced and propagation is carried out by division.
