Propagation
Sow fresh seed when ripe during spring and place in a well-drained media. Keep moist and warm until germination occurs.
Botanic information
Leaf: The very small glaucous green scale adult leaves are short and fine with a decurrent leaf base. The juvenile leaves are acicular and pointed.
Flower: The male terminal flowers are egg-shaped and solitary. The grey-brown female cones up to 15mm (µin)wide and appears at the base of branches singularly or in a cluster during spring.
Fruit: The globular cones are arranged in small clusters and contain 2 small wings seeds.
