Propagation
Take semi hardwood cuttings during late summer to autumn and place on a misting bench.


Botanic information
Leaf: The new growth is lime to golden in colour and the scale like leaves have a ridge running through the central gland. The cultivar leaves vary in description.

Flower: The male strobili sheds pollen in early spring and the tiny green female cones are found towards the end of the branchlets in spring.

Fruit: The globular glossy brown cones have 8 petal-like scales each have a small central spike and are not normally seen in warm temperate climate. The plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
