Propagation
Sow fresh seed during late winter in boxes or beds and pricked out when large enough to handle. Give frost protection when young.
Culture
It is an excellent cut flower if pick early morning and place in deep fresh water.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are ovate to oval, glabrous not glossy with prominently serrated margins. The petiole is almost as long as the blade and the leaves that are in close proximity to the flowers are smaller.
Flower: The radiate flowers are yellow centered, single daisy-like or fully double and are arranged in an umbel that appears from early summer to autumn.
Fruit: The seeds are small with about 450 per gram and the cypsela is not normally allowed to develop to prolong the flowering period.
