Propagation
Sow fresh seed in boxes or directly to bed during summer or spring and it takes 5 to 6 months to flowering. Sow thinly and plant out when 50mm (2in) tall and discard any unwanted seedlings.
Space the plants 200mm (8in) apart and stockier plants produce more double flowers. Protect from direct sun for several weeks.
