Propagation
Sow fresh seed in boxes at approximately 50mm (2in) apart. It takes 12 to 15 weeks from seed to flower.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile lanceolate leaves small bluish-green and have an acute apex. The upper surface may be covered in fine tomentose.

Flower: The tubulate flowers have a conspicuous spur as long as the corolla. They are arranged in a raceme that appears above the foliage during autumn in warm zones and early spring in cooler zones.

Fruit: The 2-locular capsule contains numerous small seed with up to 15000 per gram.
