Propagation
Surface sow seeds throughout the year and prick out when large enough to handle. Germination normally occurs within 12 days and it can take up to five months from seed to flowering.

Culture
When cultivated snapdragons, tip prune the plant to encourage branching and discourage flowering until the plant reaches maturity. After the flowering period, lightly pruned to encourage new growth and a second flush of flowers. It respond to an application of liquid complete fertiliser fortnightly during the growing season.
