Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings from spring to summer.

Take semi hardwood cuttings during autumn and keep them moist and warm.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery textured linear leaves have recurved margins and are white tomentose underneath. They are arranged in whorls of 4 along the stems.

Flower: The bilabiate to funnelform flowers have 2-lips with the upper lip having 2 broad lobes and the lower lip divided into 3-lobes that have orange spots. They appear solitary in the upper leaf axils of the plant from late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The tiny nutlets are in groups of 4 and are enclosed in the persistent calyx. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
