Culture
The plant tolerates a prune after flowering to maintain a bushy habit. If grown as a low hedge it may require pruning twice a year.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile leaves are narrow linear up to 4 mm (? in) wide with an acute apex and a depressed prominent midrib and recurved margins. The underside is white and the leaves are aromatic when crushed.

Flower: The 2-lipped (bilabiate) flowers are pale lavender with violet spots and arranged in an axillary raceme with 15-20 blooms and appear during mid spring.

Fruit: The fruit is in groups of 4 small nutlets. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
