Propagation
Take cuttings throughout the year and placed in a very well drained media. Do not over water (keep them drier).
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media and prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.
Botanic information
Leaf: The fleshy textured sessile linear leaves clasp the stem and are triangular in cross section. The apex is acute and the leaves may be curved.
Flower: The crateriform flowers appear singularly from spring to early summer above the foliage on a short pedicel. They open only in direct sun light and there are many colourfulvarietiesavailable.
Fruit: The capsule contains small seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
