Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during spring in a well-drained media and keep moist.

Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery textureovate leaves have amealy white underside and the brownish pubescent petiole is short.

Flower: The funnelform flowers are hibiscus-like with 5-velvety textured petals and a protruding central staminal column. They appear solitary in the leaf axils towards the end of the branches during summer.

Fruit: The capsule is lined with transparent hairs (spicules) which are irritating to the skin and contains numerous seeds.
