Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media and keep moist.
Take semi hardwood cuttings in late spring and place in a sand/ peat mix under glass.
Botanic information
Leaf: The elliptical leaves are thick and leathery with a waxy appearance and are paler on the underside.The apex is acute and the petiole is short.
Flower: The sweetly scented salverform flowers have 5-expanding waxy white lobes that are ovate to oblong and 5-spreading green sepals. There are 6 to 8 flowers arranged in an umbel that appears from spring to summer.
Fruit: The green follicle turns black releasing seeds with a feathery end and is dispersed by wind. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
