Propagation
Take semi hardwood cuttings from summer to autumn and apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The trifoliate leaves have 2 to 3 ovate leaflets with a long slender stalk and an acuminate apex and a cuneate base. The petiole is up to 65mm (2½in) long and the middle leaflet is often replaced by the thread-like tendril.

Flower: The tubulate flowers have a campanulate calyx that is up to 7mm long and the corolla has 5-expanding recurved lobes. There are 30 to 50 blooms arranged in a terminal panicle that droops as they open and only appears in full sun from late winter to early spring.

Fruit: The linear capsule is not commonly seen and the small seeds are viable but the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
