Propagation
Take cuttings of previous season`s wood during late spring to summer and place in a sand / peat mix with bottom heat.
Take leaf cuttings during late spring to summer.

Culture
Hoya's require a temperature of 12.7ºC (55ºF) during winter and prefer a brightly indirect light to full sun, with protection from hot mid afternoon sun. The soil must be well drained and fertile. During summer watered regularly, allowing the surface to dry before re-watering and reduce watering in winter.



Botanic information
Leaf: The thick and waxy dark glossy green elliptical to oblong leaves are up to 80 mm (3? in) long and havean acuminate apex and a short petiole.

Flower: The outer part of the stellate flowers is white with inner pink. They are arranged in a dense umbel that has 12 to 30 blooms with pedicels that are up to 50mm (2in) long. Thesweetly scented flowers appear on the same spur every year from early to mid summer. Do not pick the flowers as it may damage the spur which increases in length with each successive flowering cycle and avoid pruning stems.

Fruit: The pod-like capsule is long and cylindrical containing seed with tufts of hair. The small seed is not commonly used and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
