Propagation
The seed should be scarified and then placed in hot water for 24 hours prior to sowing. Sow seeds in a well drained moist media.


Botanic information
Leaf: The small rarely seen glaucous green leaves are linear to lanceolate.

Flower: The sweetly scented large papillionate flowers are golden yellow and are arranged in a terminal raceme that is up to 450mm (1µin)long and appear from spring to early summer.
Note
A yellow dye is created from the flower.

Fruit: The flat linear legume is silvery maturing to brown and contains numerous hard seeds.
