Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings taken during late spring to early summer and semi hardwood cuttings during summer. Place in a well-drained media and keep moist with bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The light green leaves are ovate to elliptical and have a soft, velvety texture with an acute apex and the petiole is short.
Flower: The mauve to purple rotate flowers are solitary or arranged in a sparse panicle that appears during summer.
Fruit: The small green urceolate capsule mature is brown and contains and numerous tiny seeds. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
