Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings from late spring to summer.

Sow fresh seeds during autumn and placed them in a cold frame to germinate.

Divide the clump during spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are ovate to oblong and may be arranged oppositely or whorled. They are green becoming orange to red during autumn.

Flower: The crateriform to stellate flowers have showy stamens and are solitary or arranged in an axillary cyme with up to 25 blooms and appear during summer.

Fruit: The woody capsule is persistent and is red-green in colour. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
