Take soft tip cuttings from spring to summer.
Carry out layering during summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are broad ovate with a cordate base and a crenate margin that may be lobed. The apex is acute and the petiole is short.
Flower: The campanulate flowers have a deep red calyx with 5-yellow petals and a protruding purple staminal column. The pedicle is long and lax giving the flower a pendant appearance. It flowers from late spring to early autumn.
Fruit: The schizocarpic fruit contains 2-9 seeds in a single longitudinal row. The small seed is not commonly seen and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
