Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and place in a well-drained moist media. There will be seedling variation.

Take semi hardwood cuttings during late summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: This leaf shape ie elliptical to obovate with an acute apex and a rounded uneven base. The petiole is up to 12mm (½in) long and the underside is pubescent. During autumn the leaves turn orange-red. The small pubescent brown buds are up to 3mm (?in) long.

Flower: The small cream to green campanulate flowers are arranged in a raceme that is hidden amongst the foliage and appear during midsummer.

Fruit: The winged samara is notched at the apex and is green ageing to brown during autumn. The seeds are viable but the plant may be propagated vegetatively, to maintain true to type.
