Take semi hardwood cuttings up to 100mm (4in) long during summer and placed on a misting bench.
Botanic information
Leaf: The prominently ribbed sessile elliptical to ovate leaves are pale bronze-green ageing to glossy green with triangular stipules and are densely pubescent on the underside. The apex is long acuminate and the texture is leathery.
Flower: The salverform flowers have a pinkish tube with 5-expending white to pinkish lobes and throat with yellow stamens. They are arranged densely in a terminal cyme amongst the foliage and appear during early spring.
Fruit: The small capsule produces numerous viable seeds, but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
