Propagation
Collect and clean fresh seed then sow in a well drained moist media.Stratify for 2 to 3 months and germination takes up to 12 months.
Take semi hardwood cuttings in summer and placed in a well drained media on the misting bench and roots should appear within 8-weeks.
Plants may be grafted or layered as well.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery textured dark glossy green lanceolate leaves have an acute apex and accumulate base with a short petiole.
Flower: The calyx tube consists of 4-pointed white-pink lobes and the fragrant flowers are arranged in a terminal umbel that appears from a late winter to early spring.
Fruit: The drupe contains small seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
