Propagation
Take semi-hardwood cuttings during summer and apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leathery textured leaves are ovate to oblong with an acute apex and a petiole that is up to 20mm (µin) long. The entire margin is undulating and the underside is pale green.

Flower: The flowers have pink buds that opening fully to a funnelform-rotate shape and are arranged in a terminal compound cyme that is up to 100mm (4in) wide and appear from late winter to early spring. In warmer climates sporadic flowering appear throughout summer.

Fruit: The one seeded drupe is red, ripening to black. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
