Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media and place in a warm and humid environment to germinate.

Take semi-hardwood cuttings during late spring to autumn.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are broad ovate to cordate with a tomentose surface. They are arranged decussate along the stems and have a flanged petiole.

Flower: The prolific rotate to salverform flowers are up to 45 mm (1µ in) wide and have a black centre with 5-widely expanded orange lobes. They appear solitary from late spring to late summer.

Fruit: The small slender rounded capsule contains numerous seeds that are a viable and self propagate but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
