Take soft tip cuttings during spring and semi hardwood cuttings with adventitious roots during warmer months.
Stems may be layered.

The variegated form reverts to green in full shade and tolerates a wide range of climatic zones.
Botanic information
Leaf: The juvenile leaves have 3 to 7 lobes and the adult leaves are ovate. The texture is leathery with the underside and petiole covered in reddish stellate pubescence. The variegated form has creamy white margins with patches of grey-green.
Flower: The tiny yellow-green flowers are arranged in terminal umbel that is produced on adult wood. They are normally inconspicuous during late spring and not a feature of the plant.
Fruit: The blue black berry-like fruit is are only produced on older plants and care should be taken as they are poisonous. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively, to maintain true to type.
