Divide the clump when dormant.

Take softwood cuttings of non-flowering shoots from spring to summer and hardwood cuttings in winter.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green glabrous lanceolate to oblong leaves are up to 80 mm (3? in) long by 20 mm (µ in) wide and the underside is lighter green. The petiole is up to 10mm (?in) longand the margin is serrate to dentate with an acute apex. During autumn the leaves turn yellowish before falling.

Flower: The numerous white crateriform flowers are 10 mm (? in)to 25 mm (1 in) wide and appear on the current season's growth on a pedicle that is up to 12 mm (½ in) long They are arranged in a terminal umbel that is up to 60mm (2¥ in)wide and appears during spring.
The cultivar 'Lanceata` has flowers that are rotate and double.

Fruit: The tiny fruit is a one celled dehiscent glaborous straight follicle. The small seeds are viable and may self-sow but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
