Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings during growing period and semi-hard wood cuttings in winter. Place the cuttings in a well-drained media and keep moist.
Sow fresh seeds in flats and keep moist. Prick out when large enough to handle and opt up.
Remove rooted suckers from the mother plant during spring.
Note:
To maintain a bushy habit cut back one-year-old growth by one third during late winter. The plant may also be regularly pruned to form an informal hedge and older plants can be cut back hard almost to ground level to rejuvenate.
