Propagation
Take hardwood cuttings during autumn.
Sow fresh seed during spring in containers and place in a cold frame to germinate.


Botanic information
Leaf: The lanceolate to oblanceolateleaves are glabrous and are paler on the reverse. The margin is crenate or serrate and the petiole is short.

Flower: The small white crateriform flowers appear in a corymb on short spurs along the branches from late spring and early summer.


Fruit: The small crimson to dark redberry-like pomes have a persistent calyx and appears in dense clusters.The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
