Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F).

Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.

Note:
Care should be taken and as the seeds are poisonous and ingestion may be lethal. Remove fruit as it appears in areas where children may play.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green elliptical leaves have a cuneate base with a short petiole and the apex is acuminate. The texture is leathery with a pail green underside and the entire margins are undulating.

Flower: This profuse salveriform flowers are sweetly scented with 5-petals and appear towards the end of the branches in a cluster during spring. The colour changes with age giving the shrub a mottled effect.

Fruit: The small capsule contains numerous viable seeds but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
