Propagation
Take semi- hardwood and soft tip cuttings during the growing period and place in a protected enviroment.

Botanic information
Leaf: The dull green ovate to lanceolate leaves are up to 90 mm (3½ in) long by 50mm (2in) wide with a short light green petiole. The apex is acute and the surface is lightly tomentose.

Flower: The small red urceolate to tubulate flowers are up to 40 mm (1? in) long and have 5-expanding lobes. They are arranged in a compact terminal cyme that appears towards the end of the branches during spring.

Fruit: The small purplish berry is succulent and poisonous. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
